Facing the Screen was an exhibition of student work from the Toronto area curated by Bogdan Luca, investigating the complex relationship that exists between painting and digital technologies. Participating artists: Shannon Dickie, Alex Fischer, Shlomi Greenspan, Hyoki Kang, Michael Lawrie, Meghan McKnight, Amanda Muis, Alex Sheriff, Jol Thomson, and Jeff Tutt.
A panel discussion took place at the same venue on November 7th starting at 2pm. This event welcomed four important Canadian painters who are also faculty members in the fine arts programs at universities in the Toronto area: Nicole Collins, Michel Daigneault, Monica Tap, and Joanne Tod. Vladimir Spicanovic was the moderator. |
